Preparing today’s daily games…

Draw one card at a time

Turn-one Klondike, also called draw-one solitaire, uses a single 52-card deck. Seven columns hold twenty-eight cards, with the last card of each column face up. The remaining twenty-four cards form the stock. Each stock click turns over one card onto the waste pile.

Your next card is always visible

Only the top waste card can move onto the table or a foundation. When you play it, the previous waste card becomes available again. With one-card draws you can inspect each stock card on every pass.

Two different building rules

On the table, place cards downward in alternating colors: a black eight accepts a red seven. On a foundation, build upward in one suit, starting with its Ace. An empty table column accepts a King or an ordered sequence beginning with one.

Use each revealed card well

Before drawing, check whether moving an exposed group would turn over a hidden card. A spare column helps only when you have a King to put into it, so consider which King exposes the more useful cards.

What happens when the stock runs out?

Recycle the waste to turn it into stock again. There is no limit on recycling in this game's Klondike rules. A pass without any changes will present the same cards again; repeating it alone does not open a new move.

Learn without a countdown

There is no time limit for an ordinary deal. You may hide the timer in Settings, undo a move or ask for a hint. Gentle starts from a constructed solvable layout; a Classic random deal may not be solvable.

When you want a different stock puzzle, try Klondike turn three. Read the Klondike overview for an illustrated tableau example, or play with large rank labels.
